In 2005, GIS launched the Workforce Management Division, whose flagship solution is Pangea People Management. It is a complete solution for the total employee lifecycle, from application management and background screening, to onboarding and talent management.
Over the past decade GIS has experienced record corporate growth (without acquisitions) in revenues, corporate size, and scope, and we now serve over 2,500 clients nationwide, from small business to Fortune 500 companies. Some of the largest employers in the United States and a wide variety of industries have trusted GIS for years for their HR needs.
GIS employs more than 560 people and is headquartered in Chapin, South Carolina (just outside of the capitol city of Columbia, SC). In addition, GIS has a Western Operations Center in Dallas, Texas, and sales and support locations in Tennessee and Florida.
