GIS’ Pangea for Insurance Implemented by State Auto to Streamline Processes

– The State Auto Insurance Companies have implemented Pangea for Insurance, a product of General Information Services, Inc. (GIS), enhancing State Auto’s position as a technologically advanced insurance company.
Pangea for Insurance is an insurance industry specific agent on-boarding version of GIS’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. The insurance solution was implemented on June 29 and is helping State Auto remain on the cutting edge.
“Like State Auto, we strive to be technologically advanced,” explained GIS owner and CEO Raymond Conrad. “For us, technology means creating new and better products, and part of that is being user friendly. Our goal is to instill ease of use into all of our products, including our Pangea for Insurance agent on-boarding system.”
According to David DeLong, manager of agency services for State Auto, “We now have the Pangea for Insurance product in full production for agency and agent appointments in all of our 33 operating states. It's great; everyone is thrilled with the ease and convenience from our internal company associates to our new agency/agent customers.”
DeLong went on to explain that the user-friendliness and integration capabilities offered by Pangea for Insurance helped to streamline State Auto’s insurance licensing, background check and appointment processes.
